Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 November 2026
This policy explains, in line with UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), what personal data I collect through mspire.co.uk, why I collect it, and what you can do about it. I've written it to be readable, not to hide anything.
Who I am
This website is run by MAI MSPIRE, registered in London, United Kingdom. I'm responsible for how your personal data is handled.
You can contact me about anything in this policy at mai@mspire.co.uk.
What I collect and why
When you take the quiz. If you choose to receive your result, I collect your first name, your email address, and which of the four patterns your answers point to. Your individual answers are not stored. I use this to send you your next steps and my emails. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box. You can withdraw it at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any email.
When you buy something. Payments are handled by Stripe. I receive your name, email address and the details of your purchase, but I never see your full card details. I use this to deliver what you bought and to keep the records the law requires. The legal basis is the contract between us and my legal obligations for tax and accounting.
When you message me. If you email me or send me a message, I use what you share only to reply to you and, where relevant, to work with you.
When you visit the website. My website platform collects basic technical information, such as your browser and the pages you visit, to keep the site working and to understand how it's used. If you accept cookies, I also use the Meta Pixel to measure how my ads perform. You can accept or decline these cookies in the banner when you first visit.
Who helps me process your data
I use a small number of trusted providers. They only process your data to provide their service to me:
MailerLite sends my emails and stores my email list. Stripe processes payments. Squarespace hosts this website. Meta measures ad performance, and only if you accept cookies. Google Fonts delivers the fonts on this site, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.
I never sell your personal data.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers are based in, or use servers in, countries outside the UK, such as the United States or countries in the EU. Where that happens, your data is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
How long I keep your data
I keep your email address for as long as you're subscribed. When you unsubscribe, you stop receiving emails, and I keep only what's needed to make sure you aren't contacted again. Purchase records are kept for as long as UK tax law requires.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how it's used, and to receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of this, email me at mai@mspire.co.uk.
If you're unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). If you live in the EU, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Children
This website and its content are intended for adults. I don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle your data, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
